Welcome to Waikuku Beach Surf Life Saving Club, located on the beach at the east end of Bridge Street Waikuku Canterbury. Patrol tower / club room phone number is 03 321 654.
Our weekend volunteer life guards are usually on patrol 11am till 5pm in the summer.
We will advise when our weekly patrol starts again.
Our Club Day is every Saturday during the summer, when we train to provide the volunteer life guard patrol.
Club Day starts at 9am with the rookies, and then the younger nippers start their programme at 10am and that runs through till 11:30am.

The best water safety practice is to swim between the flags and advise us of any waterborne activities you plan nearby so we can keep a casual eye on you. If you are in the water and even think you might be in trouble raise one hand straight up above your head. This is the international sign that we will recognise and will come to your assistance as fast as we can.
Come and join us on your beach, have a safe swim and if you are slightly curious about how much fun you could have if you joined the club, just ask. You do not have to be Pamela Anderson, David Hasselhoff, or a medal winning swimmer to contribute and have fun.
